The Scientist, a magazine for the life sciences, published in September an article with the title above, mapping the route for PhDs who are interested in becoming a science teacher. The main point of the article was that there are many opportunities, with quick training available if you already have a PhD. The main tips were:
- Find a good mentor.
- Bone up on classroom management.
- Choose the right school.
- Keep it simple.
Unfortunately, this article is not freely available online. But if you're interested in becoming a science teacher, I recommend you try to track down a copy!
